Falling Apart Together

I ask the questions, you give the answers. I provide solutions, you act accordingly. Simple, right?

“I want a soul mate who can sit me down, shut me up, tell me ten things I don’t already know, and make me laugh. I don’t care what you look like, just turn me on. And if you can do that, I will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will nibble your mukluks with my own teeth. I will do your windows. I will care about your feelings. Just have something in there.”

Subjective Experience

And when I tapped god on his shoulder, he turned to me, I asked, “What were you really thinking about when you created all of this?”

“All of what?”

“Look around you.”

“Don’t have to, I know what’s there.”

“So, what were you thinking?”

“Don’t really know and can’t really fix it.”

When I realized god had no control, everything started to make sense and churches melted into normal structures and religious garb lost all meaning and that cross on my ankle was now specifically devoted to the things my grandma didn’t undersand, but it still represented that I loved her, nonetheless.

God blesses all, but he does not understand.

Somebody Said This

I never quit working. I work in the dark cause work is light. I tell my work all my problems because it never gives answers i have already. It never edits without me. Doesn’t call me names. I give my work away, because it doesn’t cost me much. In fact i’m indebted. I work hard since life is hard. Death is a soft place, it can wait. But work ain’t love. And love ain’t work. For sure.

Borrowed Truth

You can get as many haircuts and buy as many trendy outfits as you want, but you’re not going to change the fact that it’ll never be cool to feel upset, angry, and alone.

A Short Truth About Some of Your Days

Who knows how many days the average person lives, because we function on such a yearly timeline, but I imagine there’s those days where we are the most comfortable with ourselves; the most comfortable with the things we’ve done and things we might do and want to do.

Absurd What If Question #35

What if the tax system was ‘give as you can’ and lobbyist didn’t lobby to politicians, but they would lobby to the people, because aren’t people the central interest of lobbyists?
